  1. Pharmacy Manager

The Pharmacy Manager we are looking for must have the unique combination of healthcare background and business management skills in order to successfully balance the responsibility of providing quality professional patient services while ensuring that business goals are met.

If you are a Pharmacist with an entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to become the best in your field, you are the one we are looking for.  We are continuing to grow and we want managers who would want to be part of this growth.

Minimum 3 years as a Pharmacist and at least 1 year of management experience preferred.  Strong LEADERSHIP skill is a MUST.

2. Psychologist

Our client is a Vancouver Clinic composed of a team of clinicians who specialize in working with children, youth and adults using a developmental life-span approach.

They provide evidence-based assessment, therapy, and consultation services. The practice is well-recognized in the community, has a strong referral network and good relationships with school districts as well as and pediatricians.

We are looking to hire a Full-Time Psychologist to join this thriving practice. The ideal candidate would have extensive experience working with children with Autism. A Senior Psychologist will be present to offer mentoring and peer support. Whether you are in the early stages or already well-established in your career, we would like to speak with you. Psychologists will be compensated accordingly with either an annual fixed salary or a fee sharing agreement.

Candidates must be registered with the College of Psychologists of BC.

Candidates with strong skills in the assessment of children/adolescents with AUTISM will be given priority consideration.

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following—

 

  • Psycho-educational assessments and/or assessments of neurodevelopmental conditions including FASD and Autism (preferred)
  • Private assessments and assessments contracted from health authorities for children with neurodevelopmental disorders (these assessments are completed in the context of a multidisciplinary team)
  • Therapy addressing anxiety in young children, parenting support, and support of individuals with ASD
  • Outreach travel for those who are interested

We offer professional development and group learning opportunities. Optional psychometry support is also available.

Compensation is highly negotiable.

3. Registered Nurse Manager

Our client is a highly-recognized and top-rated senior care home located in Vancouver.  We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on leader who will assume a very important management position in the organization.

The RN Care Manager will work very closely with the Director of Care to ensure that the residents experience excellent quality of care with the objective of continuously improving processes and creating exceptional standards in the care home.

Requirements

  • Current Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia (CRNBC)
  • Three to five years of clinical nursing experience preferably in the long term care setting
  • Prior leadership | mentorship experience in the clinical setting
  • Gerontology or healthcare administrator certificate preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required (at least one day on the weekend)
  • Computer Skills: MS Office | email applications | database programs | Point of Care software etc.
  • Chinese language skill is a definite asset (Cantonese)

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and hands-on direction to all RNs, LPNs and Care Aides
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the care home based on pre-established guidelines
  • Provide guidance and coaching as well as a training plan for the team
  • Directly supervise and monitor clinical skill levels of care staff in order to develop corrective plans to address issues and implement changes that ensure care standards are properly met
  • Provide recommendations and input to standard operating policies and procedures based on industry best practices in order to achieve greater efficiency and exceptional residential care
  • Inspire and motivate the staff to achieve greater quality of care and efficiency in the workplace
  • Make necessary adjustments to schedules and staffing requirements based operational needs
  • Ensure compliance with all government, employment and industry laws, regulations and requirements by staying informed of changes and their impact on the organization and its goals.
  • Meet with residents and their families to discuss, provide support and guidance regarding the resident’s condition and plan of care
  • Assist in the recruitment of care staff
  • Other duties as assigned by the DOC
