Assistant Controller (Recruiting on behalf of a Global Leader in HVAC Solutions)
About Our Client: iLink Global Recruiting is partnering with a global leader in energy-efficient solutions for healthy indoor climates. Our client manufactures and markets advanced HVAC systems, including Heat Recovery and Energy Recovery Ventilators, to improve air quality and create healthier environments.
Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and self-driven Assistant Controller for our client’s growing team. In this role, you will oversee accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and internal controls. You will ensure timely, accurate financial reporting while supporting budgeting, forecasting, and operational analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare journal entries, financial reconciliations, and monthly reporting.
- Manage the annual budget and participate in quarterly forecasting.
- Conduct variance analysis and monitor cash flow.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage fixed assets.
- Provide ERP training and support cross-departmental projects.
- Liaise with insurance brokers, benefits providers, and manage company-related accounts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience; CPA designation preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (NetSuite), and accounting software.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary between $90K – $100K, plus bonuses and profit sharing.
